The Making of Jellicle 😸
When I was 10 years old, I watched my first Broadway show: Cats. I watched in with my family when it toured here in San Francisco, and truthfully, it was absolutely terrifying.
The whole experience felt like buying a Popsicle from an ice cream truck (stay with me on this! lol).
Much like this Popsicle, Cats looked friendly and colorful and an all around fun time.
Then I watched it aaaaaaand…
Yeah. No one knows how this happened, but we enjoy it anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When I started putting PINBILL together, I knew I had to transform this experience into a pin. So I did a flip on the Popsicle logo. Then I created my own wonky version of a Cats Popsicle for the backer card complete with bubblegum eyes.
And the first PINBILL pin was born! He’s the OG and we can always rely on him for a laugh at our in-person events. The Jellicle enamel pin and matching sticker are available in the shop. Thanks for reading ❤️
